Organized by the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI), one of the IASDR 2025 hosts, the satellite events aim to strengthen the connection between academia and industry. These programs provide in-depth insights into Taiwan’s design practices, featuring industry forums, site visits, and exhibitions that highlight cutting-edge collaborations between design research and practice.

IASDR 2025 Industry Tour

Step inside Taiwan’s creative world! As part of the IASDR 2025 International Design Conference, the co-organizer Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI) invites participants to join the special half-day tour offering an inside look at how design shapes Taiwan’s industries, cities, and everyday life.

Choose from three inspiring routes — Sustainable Circular Design, Technology in Practice, or Public Service Redesign — and visit leading companies and innovative design projects that are driving change. From green innovation to digital creativity and public design solutions, each route offers a hands-on experience of Taiwan’s design power in action.

TDRI x Stanford d.school|Design for Social Impact Workshop

Led by Stanford d.school educators Nadia Roumani and Thomas Both, and hosted by the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI), this full-day, in-person workshop introduces an Integrative Design approach that blends design thinking, systems thinking, strategy, and equity frameworks to help address tough, real-world issues.

2025 Taiwan Design Week|DESIGN NEXT

Design weeks connect creative forces worldwide, and Taiwan Design Week continues expanding its global network, strengthening the identity of "Design in Taiwan."

This year joins forces with the IASDR, creating a cross-disciplinary, cross-industry, and cross-border platform through forums, exhibitions, and industry exchange.
